One of several covers I've done for the local chapter of the NCJW's annual fundraiser-The Gourmet Day of History-held every October.
The drawing was made on 14"x17" 3 ply "Kid Finished" bristol board with India Ink and a wash of water-soluable graphite in shades of grey.
In the foreground are an assortment of bread, cheeses, and fruit, with the Charleston WV's Sternwheeler P. A. Denny, docked at it's birth at Hadad Riverside Park in in the backround with the the "South Street Bridge" in the distance.
